| LETTER FROM NUTRITIONIST
Dear Boot Camp participant,
- Congratulations, you have decided to take the first step towards good health and fitness by joining a gym. We all know by now that exercise is vitally important to your well-being, and that optimal results are achieved with a proper diet. If losing and maintaining weight is among your fitness goals, combining diet and exercise becomes especially important.
- Most of my clients have tried all the popular diets only to fail. The reason most people fail is because the diet books are not tailored to an individual’s metabolism. The diet books cannot answer the age-old question, “What am I supposed to eat?” because the answer might be very different from person to person.
We all know that the same meal can make one individual skinnier, while another will gain weight. We all have a very unique way of utilizing food; it’s called “Metabolic Typing” The diet has to be designed specifically for you based on your metabolic type, or it won’t work!
- Please print out the attached Food Journal and start writing down every speck of food you are having during the day. Even if you do not show it to anyone, just writing it down and actually seeing what you have eaten, affects eating habits and makes you eat healthier. But don’t stop there; daily food journals should become part of your health routine.
- The best way to use this journal, however, is to fill it out as accurately and honestly as possible for seven consecutive days and send it to me by Fax (contact gym’s front desk).
I will thoroughly analyze every calorie and every gram of carbs, proteins and fat consumed, glycemic index of meals and their effect on your endocrine system. Then I will know exactly what could and should be adjusted in your diet.
- If you decide to pay for this consultation on the first day of your camp, we’ll give you a break: it will cost you only $50. If right now you are not sure whether you need help from a professional Nutritionist, you are welcome to get on board later on during the camp and at that point the price will be $65.
- I am sure you will have great results and a lot of fun in our Boot Camp!
